Born June 3, 1926 at Blytheville, Ark., son of the late Turner Morgan and Letha Nellie Parish Richardson, he was a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II and the Korean War. A retired farmer, he was a member of the Oglesville General Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Paul Wayne Richardson of Doniphan; one daughter, Tammy Smith and husband, Oscar, of Doniphan; three brothers, J.B. Richardson of O'Fallon and Vernon and David Richardson Sr. both of Qulin; one sister, Goldie Sparks of Nesbit, Miss.; five grandchildren, Christy Colyott, Oscar Brian Smith and Eric Richardson, all of Doniphan, Joshua Richardson and Tressie Williams of Alabama; eight great-grandchildren, Samantha Chism, Jade Colyott, Cole Colyott, Cathrine Clark Smith, Madyson Richardson, Caitlyn Richardson, Taylor Williams and Easton Williams.

No visitation will be held.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 15, at the Carola-Berger Cemetery at Oglesville, Mo. with the Rev. Allen Leutret officiating.
