J.R. Little, 87, of Kennett, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2007, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born June 19, 1920, in Kennett, son of the late Robert J. and Opal Geneva Wright Little, he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in WWII. He was employed at Kennett Public School as a janitor.

Survivors include a niece, Cleta Whitledge and husband, Charles, of Nixa, Mo.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Gene Little.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Tuesday, Dec. 11, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec., 12, in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett with Spencer Furby officiating.
