Pearl Tackeberry

Pearl Tackeberry, 91, of Kennett, Mo., died Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, at the Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center at Kennett.

Born March 19, 1916, at Zalma, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Della Rowena Livington Street. She was a member of the Abundant Life Church at Kennett.

On Nov. 12, 1932, she married Dud Tackeberry who survives. Other survivors include two sons, Gerald "Butch" Tackeberry of Kennett and Jerry Tackeberry of Senath, Mo.; one brother, George Street of Wichita, Kan.; two sisters, Gladys Williams of Modesto, Calif. and Marie Hunt of Indianapolis, Ind.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

One infant son, Billy Don Tackeberry, one daughter, Betty Albers; one daughter-in-law, Rose Tackeberry; one brother, Loren Street; and one sister, Della Risner, preceded her in death.

Visitation was from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, at the McDaniel Funeral Home at Kennett.

The funeral service is at 2 p.m. today, Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007, at the McDaniel Chapel at Kennett, with the Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating.

Burial will follow at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers include Keith Albers, Greg Albers, Derick Albers, Skip Tackeberry, Jonathan Binkard, Dustin Hunter, and Wade Harris.
