Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Jewell of Kennett announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Ashley Jewell, to Nathan Ryan Baker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Baker of Kennett.

The bride to be is a 2002 graduate of Kennett High School and a 2006 graduate of Williams Baptist College where she graduated with a bachelor of science in physical education and health. She is currently employed with the Delta C-7 School District.

She is the granddaughter of the late Sam and Reda Jewell of Kennett.

The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Kennett High School and a 2006 graduate of Lyon College with a bachelor of science in business administration/management. He is currently employed with the Delta C-7 School District.

He is the grandson of T.R. and Hazel Baker of Kennett and the late James and Bernice Rowland of Kennett.

The ceremony will take place Dec. 15, 2007, at Ely Baptist Church in Kennett.
