Jeffery Lynn Bargett. 40, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007, at Pascola, Mo.

Born April 29, 1967, in St. Louis, Mo., son of Rebecca Hooper Bargett and the late Willard Joseph Bargett, Jr., he attended school in Caruthersville, Mo., and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was in the contracting/consulting business and was vice president of special projects for Bank of America.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Carvajal Bargett; two sons, Jordan and Blake Bargett, of Charlotte, N.C.; twin daughters, Sydney and Skylar Bargett, of Charlotte; his mother, Rebecca Hooper Lee, of Pascola; three sisters, Leighan Bargett, of Pascola, Tammy "Sissy" Sellers, of Caruthersville and Mylinda Bargett, of Ozark, Ala., and one brother, Willard Joseph Bargett III, of Pascola.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 4, in the Pemiscot Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Rob Titus officiating.

Pallbearers were Ronald Glass, Forest Putman, Chris Cummings, Ricky Hooper, Rick Hall and Bobby Reno.

H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville was in charge of arrangements.
