Paula Kay Carr, 39, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Friday, Nov. 30, 2007, in rural Pemiscot County, Mo.
Born Feb. 10, 1968, in Hayti, Mo., daughter of Paul Edward and Melba Kay Mott Faulkner, she was a 1986 graduate of Caruthersville High School and a housekeeper. She attended the First Assembly of God Church in Caruthersville.
Survivors include two children, Gary Wayne Murphy and Lindsey Nicole Handley, both of Caruthersville; five brothers, Parker and Tim Faulkner and Kevin Faulkner and wife, Kellye Jo, all of Caruthersville, Johnny Faulkner and wife, Cathy, of Kennett and DeWayne Faulkner and wife, Sarah, of Jackson, Tenn., and her parents Paul and Melba Faulkner, of Caruthersville.
She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Paul Murphy and her grandparents.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 3, at the First Assembly of God Church in Caruthersville with Rob Titus and Larry Griffin officiating.
Burial was in the Pemiscot Memorial Gardens Cemetery near Caruthersville.
Pallbearers were Michael Robinson, Cody Pickens, Chad Woods, Danny Murphy, Lloyd Cash and Daniel Murphy.
John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti was in charge of arrangements.
