Melba Louise Brown, 81, of Malden, Mo., died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born Oct. 20, 1926, in Missouri, daughter of the late Thomas Glenn and Delphia Wood Pipkin, she was a member of the Pleasant View General Baptist Church in Risco, Mo.
On Dec. 31, 1945, in Piggott, Ark., she married Dick Brown, who preceded her in death on April 25, 1986. She was also preceded in death by one brother, James Christopher Pipkin.
Survivors include one daughter, Sonya Landers and husband, Ted, of Risco; two granddaughters, Lisa Newton, of Clarkton, Mo., and Liane Bizzell, of Scott City, Mo.; one grandson, Trevor Landers, of Risco and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 2, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Burial will be in the Park Cemetery at Malden.
