Geraldine Stone Cook, 78, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, at Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born Nov. 11, 1929, in Hathaway, Tenn., daughter of the late Pete Eugene Stone and Myrtle Christine Carlton, she was a member of the First Christian Church in Caruthersville.
She married K.H. Cook, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Gerry Fenton and three brothers, Lester, Buddy and Thomas Stone.
Survivors include three sons, Bobby Cowles and wife, Debbie, of Knoxville, Tenn., Eddie Cowles, of Caruthersville and Stoney Cook and wife, Becca, of Hornersville, Mo.; one brother, Eugene Carlton Stone, of Memphis, Tenn. and seven grandchildren, Rob Cowles, of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., Amy Watson, of Kennett, Laura Fenton, of Fort Collins, Colo., Bethany Fenton, of Lexington, Ky., Lindsey Johnson, of Caruthersville and John Kyle and Kylie Cook, both of Hornersville.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the First Christian Church in Caruthersville with Howard Mountcastle officiating.
Burial was in the Little Prairie Cemetery at Caruthersville.
Pallbearers were Danny, Lester, Jr., Johnny, Aaron, Josh and Brent Stone.
Honorary pallbearer was Rob Cowles.
H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville was in charge of arrangements.
