Noel Quinn, 84, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Mo.
Born May 1, 1923, in Caruthersville, son of the late Albert Leslie Quinn and Elza Ann Eaves, he was a jeweler, a barber, a cafe owner and a pawn shop owner. He was a member of the Masonic Order 461, the International Order of the Oddfellows and the Tucker Street Church in Dyersburg, Tenn.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Rose Quinn; one son, Noel Quinn, Jr., and wife, Sheila, of Gallatin, Tenn; one sister, Betty June Ray, of Tallahassee, Fla.; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Beasley, of White, Ga., and Heather Thomas, of Owensboro, Ky., and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Neal Quinn.
Graveside services were held Saturday, Nov. 24, in the Pemiscot Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Max Chandler, Tracey Latham, Nick Reeves, Roger Shore, Johnny Young, Willis Chapman, Mark Callender, Trent Thomas, Mason Beasley and Doug Haynes.
H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville was in charge of arrangements.
