Harold Dean Vinson, 77, of Campbell, Mo., died Friday, Nov. 23, 2007, at his residence.
Born Jan. 3, 1930, in Campbell, son of the late Leonard Boyd and Gracie Agnes Lewis Vinson, he attended Bethel Assembly of God in Gideon, Mo., and the First Assembly of God Church in Campbell.
On Jan. 8, 1947, in Campbell, he married Jo Alice Luna. He later married Blanche Morrison on March 23, 1998, who survives.
Survivors also include one son, Sherman Leonard Vinson and wife, Joanne, of Campbell; one daughter, Martha Alice Phillips and husband, Jerry, of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; one step-son, Richard Morrison and wife, Shelby, of Denton, Md.; two step-daughters, Patsy Green and husband, Skip, of Beckley, West Virginia, and Donna Moore, of West Palm, Fla.; two brothers, Gaylon Vinson and wife, Jeanene, of St. Louis, Mo., and Bruce Vinson and wife, Kay, of Campbell; two sisters, Dorothy Ragsdale and husband, John, of St. Louis and Delpha Ledford, of Campbell; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by infant twin brothers, Coy and Coyce; one brother, John Billy Vinson; one sister, Francis Ellen Cates; and one step-grandson, Kevin Green.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 15, at the First Assembly of God Church in Campbell with Revs. Gaylon and Bruce Vinson officiating.
