Rufus Brown, 77, of Arbyrd, Mo., died Friday, Nov. 23, 2007 at Senath Nursing Center in Senath, Mo.
Born on Oct. 29, 1930, in Coldwater, Mo., son of the late Thomas H. and Beulah Maness Brown, he was retired from the United States Air Force, and an electrician.
On June 4, 1953 at Piggot, Ark., he married Bonnie Imogene Kellums who preceded him in death Dec. 13, 1998.
On Feb. 14, 2002, at Arbyrd, Mo., he married Elizabeth Jane Brown, who survives the home.
Other survivors include four sons, Denny and Mark Brown of Hornersville, Mo., and Dennis and Rufus Keith Brown of Arbyrd; one brother, Tom Brown of Hornersville; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Nicklson and a brother, Marshal Brown.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 24, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Arbyrd.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 25, at the First Baptist Church in Arbyrd with the Rev. Alan Cureton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lulu Cemetery at Senath.
