Iola Mattics

Iola May Mattics, 92, of St. Charles, Mo., died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, at St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles.

Born Aug. 22, 1915, in Senath, Mo., daughter of the late Jack and Maude Pruett, she was a homemaker and a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church and a past member of Senath United Methodist Church.

She married Rona Gordan Mattics, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one son, Bobby Jack Mattics and a son-in-law, Rollin Terry Mungle.

Survivors include one daughter, Glenda Mungle, of St. Charles; one granddaughter, Pamela Joy Mattics Winnegar, of Barnhart, Mo., and three great-grandchildren, John, Thomas and Joey Winnegar, all of Barnhart.

Burial was at noon today, Tuesday, Nov. 20, in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.

Baue Funeral and Memorial Center of St. Charles was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
