John Burl Miller, 74, of Malden, Mo., died Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Born July 21, 1933, in Wardell, Mo., son of the late George and Della Estes Miller, he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Korea and was a member of the Malden Church of Christ.

On Dec. 8, 1956, in Hernando, Miss., he married Frances Ann Randell, who survives.

Survivors also include several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Lewis Miller.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 19, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Wardell with Bryan McAlister officiating.

Burial was in the Wardell Memorial Cemetery.
