Erma Nell Parker, 80, of Piggott, Ark., died Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, at the Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Ark.

Born March 2, 1927, in Holcomb, Mo., she was the daughter of the late William and Anna Johnson Byrd.

On Oct. 8, 1949, she married Robert W. Parker, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Joe and Bobby Byrd.

Survivors include one daughter, Sharon Maynard, of Homosossa, Fla.; one brother, Jimmy Byrd, of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; one sister, Betty Parker, of Piggott; two grandsons, Danny Maynard, of Macomb, Mich., and Scott Allen Maynard, of Manton, Mich., and four great-grandchildren, Scott, Tyler, Danny Ray and Christian.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 19, at the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Piggott with Jack Cole officiating.

Burial was in the Piggott Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Pharis Edwards, Charles Underwood, Ted McComb, Junior Edwards, J.D. Cook and James Featherston.
