Elizabeth Jane and Alan James Brown of Piggott, Ark., announce the birth of their daughter, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Brown, born July 16, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center's Family BirthPlace in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

She weighed 1 pound and 7 ounces and was 12 inches long.

She is the granddaughter of Linda and Bruce McKinney of Senath, Mo., Jeffery Brown of Plainwell, Mich., and Glenda Ward of Piggott.
