Ethel Marie Fincher
Ethel Marie Fincher, 78, of Kennett, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2007, at Jonesboro, Ark.

Born Nov. 15, 1928, in Kennett, daughter of the late Frank and Lillie Pugh Ford, she was employed at Southwestern Bell as a telephone operator and was a member of the Third Street Baptist Church in Kennett.

She married Dillard Fincher, who preceded her in death on May 13, 1994. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, William and Raymond Ford; one sister, Alene Tyler and one grandchild, Kayla Figgins.

Survivors include one son, Keith Fincher and wife, Kathy, of Kennett; two daughters, Debbie Garrett and Kim Figgins and husband, Gary, all of Kennett; and six grandchildren, Chris and Ashley Garrett, Brittany Geohagan, Haley Fincher and Matthew and Lily Figgins.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Wednesday, Nov. 14, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Jason Bowen officiating.

Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett .

Pallbearers were Donnie Brooks, James Geohagan, Chris Garrett, Raymon Casper, Gail Garrett and Odie Wake.

Honorary pallbearer was Jack Lance.
