Born Jan. 24, 1915, in Magness, Ark., son of the late Wilson and Mima Burns Tomlinson, he was a farmer and a member of the Church of Christ.
On Sept. 20, 1942, in Kennett, he married Mary Kinder, who preceded him in death on Aug. 19, 1984. He was also preceded in death by six brothers and sisters, Sarah Molly, Wilma Glendene, Reuben and Gary Hubert Tomlinson, Wanda Blanke and Gertrude Lynn.
Survivors include one son, David Tomlinson, of Bragg City; one daughter, Candace Tomlinson, of Bragg City; one brother, Stanley Tomlinson, of Gosnell, Ark.; one granddaughter, Jeanne "Buffie" Perkins and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., today, Wednesday, Nov. 14, in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett with the Rev. O.H. Brooks officiating.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
