Claudius H. "Dude" Clark, 85, of New Madrid, Mo., died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, at the Golden Living Center in New Madrid.
Born July 6, 1922, in Jonesboro, Ark., he was the son of the late Claude and Edna Reno Clark.
On Dec. 12, 1941, he married Dorothy Johnson, who preceded him in death in Sept. of 1970. On Dec. 14, 1985, he married Ruth Patterson, who survives.
Survivors also include three sons, James E. Clark and wife, Carolyn, of Chillicothe, Ill., Tony Clark, of Morton, Ill., and Tim Clark and wife, Judy, of Morley, Mo.; three daughters, Carolyn Cobb, of Circle City, Mo., Dianne Clark, of Kennett and Donna Glidewell and husband, Ronnie, of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Harold Clark; two brothers; four sisters and one granddaughter, Shawna J. Cobb.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Nov. 9, at the Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Richards Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bud Evans officiating.
Burial with military honors will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
