Weymon Reba Nix, 77, of Chaffee, Mo., formerly of Malden, Mo., died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007, at Chaffee Nursing Center.

Born March 4, 1930, in Lawrenceburg, Tenn., daughter of the late David and Armentia Cantrell Collier, she was a member of the Spoonerville Baptist Church in Malden.

In Jan. 1948, she married Winford Jay Nix, who preceded her in death on June 22, 1966. She was also preceded in death by one son, Johnny Ray Nix; three sisters, Dessie Nix, Grace Parson and Verna Crowder; two brothers, Leonard and J.D. Collier and one grandson, Kevin Nix.

Survivors include four sons, Joe Nix and wife, Mary, of Adrian, Mich., Jerry Nix and wife, Pamela, of Delta, Mo., Danny Nix, of Lake Wells, Fla., and Bobby Nix, of Clarkton, Mo.; one brother, Morris Collier, of Paragould, Ark.; one sister, Lela Riggenss, of Frost Proof, Fla.; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 11, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Blagg officiating.

Burial will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery at Malden.
