Marjorie Sue Lemonds, 77, of Sikeston, Mo., died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.

Born March 12, 1930, in Kennett, daughter of the late Lum and Beulah Moore Sullinger, she was a beautician and a member of the First Baptist Church in Sikeston.

On March 15, 1947, she married James H. Lemonds, who preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 1992. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert Sullinger and one sister, Margaret Taylor.

Survivors include one daughter, Suzanne Alsup, of Sikeston; one sister, Beadie Flem, of Bakersfield, Calif.; two grandchildren, James Alsup and Amanda Lewis, both of Sikeston and two great-grandchildren, Jacob and McKenzie Alsup, both of Sikeston.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 7, at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 7, at the Ponder Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
