Heather Diane Megiveron of Cardwell, Mo., and Edward Ray Rouse announce the birth of their son, Tyler Aaron Rouse, born Oct. 17, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center's Family BirthPlace in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

He weighed 9 pounds and 5 ounces and was 20 inches long.

He is the grandson of Amy Cooper of Cardwell, Michael Megiveron of Waterford, Mich., and Sheila Chase and Tony Rouse of Poplar Bluff, Mo.
