Murle Eugene Lewis, 59, of Little Rock, Ark., died Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Little Rock.
Born February 18, 1948, son of the late Richard Murle and Dorothy Lee Tune Lewis, he was a truck driver and was affiliated with the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Campbell, Mo.
On Dec. 4, 1983, in Malden, Mo., he married Peggy Elaine Walker, who survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Brian Harrison, of Taft, Calif., Murle Lewis, of Clarkton, Mo., and Matthew Lewis, of Little Rock, Ark.; two daughters, Stacy Lewis, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Nicole Lewis, of Holcomb, Mo.; one step-son, James William Eldridge III, of Little Rock; one step-daughter, Tina Marie Lemons, of Sherwood, Ark.; three brothers, Richard Lewis, of Gideon, Mo., Frankie Lewis, of Horse Shoe Lake, Ill., and Denver Lewis, of Clarkton; three sisters, Marilyn Elwood, of Colgate, Okla., Carolyn Muns, of Clarkton, and Delinda Ray, of Gideon; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., today, Sunday, Oct. 21, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, Mo.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 22, at the Bradshaw Chapel, with Rev George Needham officiating.
Burial will be in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery at Clarkton.
