Bill Oxford

Billy Charles “Bill” Oxford, 64, of Arbyrd, Mo., died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007, at Idabel, Okla.

Born Dec. 29, 1942, in Cardwell, Mo., son of the late Elbert and Mary Oxford, he was employed by Emerson Trucking and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include two daughters, Candis Fiedler, of Idabel and Tracy Hefner and husband, Walter, of Foreman, Ark.; three brothers, Gaylon Oxford, of Urbana, Mo., Danny Oxford and wife, Vicki, of Allegan, Mich., and Terry Oxford and wife, Barbara, of Senath, Mo.; two sisters, Mary “Libby” Bost, of Flint, Mich., and Alma “Sissy” Bowen, of Menomonie, Wis., and five grandchildren, Jarros Greiner, of Idable, Chris Hefner, of Conway, Ark., and Jordan Oxford and Haley and Lauren Hefner, all of Foreman.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Carolyn “Hucky” Mungle.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., today, Sunday, Oct. 21, at the Foreman Church of Christ.

Burial will follow in the Dollarhide Cemetery at Foreman.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 23, at the Church of Christ in Senath.

Norwood Funeral Home in Idabel is in charge of arrangements.
