Latisha Marie Brown, 25, of Junction City, Kan., formerly of Kennett and Caruthersville, Mo., died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kan.
Born June 13, 1982, in Hayti, Mo., daughter of Gladys Hendrix Brown and the late Louis Curtis Brown, she was employed as a computer operator for Empire Today and a member of the Community Temple Church of God in Christ.
Survivors include one son, Evan Brown, of Kansas City, Mo.; her mother, Gladys Brown, of Union City, Tenn.; four brothers, Chris Hendrix and Tracy Brown, both of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Prentiss Brown, of Minnesota and Joey Brown, of Kennett and a half-sister, Jennifer Walter, of St. Louis, Mo.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Robin Brown.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., today, Tuesday, Oct. 16, at the Community Temple Church of God in Christ at Kennett, with Bishop Robinson officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Travis Finley, Allen Samples, Billy Beal, Terry Anthony, Jesse Samples, Johnathan Beal, Dea Anthony Allen and Dan Finley.
