Juanita P. Smith, 94, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, at the Caruthersville Nursing Center in Caruthersville, Mo.

Born April 20, 1913, in Vicksburg, Miss., daughter of the late Charles and Lula Preston, she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and active in the PEO.

On July 23, 1938, in Marion, Ark., she married Clifford V. Smith, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Wayne Smith and wife, Karen and Don Smith and wife, Monica and two grandchildren, Alanna and Lennon Smith.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 13, in the Little Prairie Cemetery at Caruthersville.

H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville was in charge of arrangements.
