Burgie E. Carmack, 96, of Heber Springs, Mo., formerly of Cardwell, Mo., died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007, at Southridge Village Nursing and Rehab.

Born Oct. 8, 1911, in Faulkner County, Ark., daughter of the late Jess and Margie Lemmons Black, she was a homemaker and a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints.

Survivors include one son, Ron Carmack and wife, Pat, of Heber Springs; one daughter, Judy Malone and hsuband, Ron, of West Fork, Ark.; one sister, Ruth Sias, of Yelm, Wash.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Buel Carmack.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 14, at the Heath Funeral Home in Paragould, Ark.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 14, in the Greene County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ron Malone officiating.
