Katherine Juanita Booker, 58, of Kennett, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, south of Kennett.

Born Oct. 5, 1949, in Kennett, daughter of the late Frank and Ruby Caldwell Nelson, she was an in home care worker, a homemaker and a member of the Third Street Baptist Church in Kennett.

On June 15, 1962, in Arkansas, she married Billy Wayne Booker, Sr., who survives.

Survivors also include two sons, Billy Booker, Jr., and wife, Shannon, of Arbyrd, Mo., and George Booker, of Kennett; four daughters, Mary Cunningham and husband, Scott, and Vickey Booker, all of Senath, Mo., Margie McDonald and husband, Steve, of Knoxville, Tenn., and Billie Jo Thompson, of Kennett; three brothers, Jimmy Nelson, of California and Harry Truman Nelson and Billy Cox, both of Kennett; one sister, Elizabeth Ruby Brown, of Kennett; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Cathy May Booker and one sister, Betty Faye Lape.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 8, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Jason Bowen officiating.

Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
