Margaret Dismore

Mary Margaret Dismore, 77, of Gideon, Mo., died Monday, Oct. 8, 2007, at the Gideon Care Center.

Born Nov. 8, 1929, in Savannah, Tenn., daughter of the late Charlie Brown and Mae Belle McMahon Spencer, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gideon.

On April 20, 1946, in Concord, Mo., she married Shirley Lee Dismore, who preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 2007. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Gracie Spears and Willidene Spencer and four brothers, Clyde, Emory, John Ancil and Clinton Spencer.

Survivors include one daughter, Judy Davis and husband, Arthur, of Portage, Ind.; two sisters, Jo Sharp, of Gideon and Dorothy White, of Richardson, Texas and one grandson, Adam Davis, of Philadelphia, Pa.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., today, Wednesday, Oct. 10, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Gideon.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 11, at the First Baptist church in Gideon with the Rev. Gene Lancaster officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery at Lilbourn, Mo.
