Millers celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Gary Miller of Kennett will celebrate their 50 wedding anniversary with a reception, hosted by their children, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Kennett Community Center.

Gary Wayne Miller and Sue Ann Oakes were married Oct. 22, 1957, by Rev. Owen Sherrill. They have three children, Leigha Harris and husband, Michael of Bowling Green, Ky., Lisa Thaxton of Mountain Home, Ark., and Chris Miller of Kennett, and five grandchildren, Zach and Taylor Harris, Hillary and Hannah Thaxton and Logan Miller.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
