Travis Roy McDonald, 92, of Modesto, Calif., died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, in Sacramento, Calif.

Born July 5, 1915, in Mundy, Texas, he was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in WWII. He attended the Rock Church in Elk Grove, Calif.

He married Margaret Genevieve, who preceded him in death in 1974. He later married Lois Siebold in 1975, who survives.

Survivors also include seven children, Janet, Joy, Beverly, John, Mary, Priscilla and Julie; 22 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Friday, Sept. 21, at the Rock Church in Elk Grove.

Burial was in Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi, Calif.

Chapel of the Angels Mortuary in Grass Valley, Calif., was in charge of arrangements.
