In other volleyball action Tuesday, Gideon locked up the Tri-County Conference title and top seed in next week's league tourney with a 25-15, 25-20 win over Campbell.
Gibson ended the night with monster numbers -- 20 kills and four blocks -- as Senath-Hornersville (6-10-1, 2-3 Bootheel) had all three of its seniors in the lineup for the first time in nearly a month as libero Kasey Mara returned from an injury.

In the second set, Senath-Hornersville and the Lady Bulldogs fought nip-and-tuck most of the set, but the Lady Lions seemed to be taking control as they opened up a 15-10 lead at one point.
However, South Pemiscot fought back to take the lead on two occasions -- the last time at 20-19 -- and the set was tied at 23-all before the Lady Lions regrouped and closed out the contest.
Jena Payne had 26 assists for Senath-Hornersville, while McKenzie Harris added 21 assists and had six kills. Mara dished off five assists, while Megan Smith finished with five kills and a block.
The Lady Lions host Caruthersville in a Bootheel Conference contest Thursday on Senior Night.

At Campbell, the Lady Bulldogs wrapped up another Tri-County Conference crown as they remained undefeated in non-tournament games this season.
Cassy Woolverton had a team-high 10 kills, while Lindsey Wilson added three and Megan Parker chipped in one. Setter Erin Richardson had 11 assists and added seven points from the service line.
Gideon's jayvee also wrapped up a conference crown in even more dominant fashion, downing the Lady Camels 25-0, 25-13. Brooke Spears served for 24 straight points in the opening set to bring home the win.
The Lady 'Dogs open play in the Tri-County Conference next week at Wardell.
