Billy Gene Evans, 69, of Campbell, Mo., died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, at his residence.

Born Nov. 4, 1937, in Wylorsville, Tenn., son of the late Eulon Carl and Eular Mae Bucie Evans, he was bus driver for the Campbell School system.

On Nov. 10, 1956, in Portageville, Mo., he married Glenda Ramsey, who survives.

Survivors also include four daughters, Patricia Troutt and husband, Mike, Sherry Beltz and husband, Steve, Stacey Kirkpatrick and husband, John and Jeannie Meadows and husband, Randy, all of Campbell; one brother, Charles Evans, of Parsons, Tenn.; two sisters, Virginia Stoker and husband, John, of Kennett and Juanita Reed, of Campbell; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Bob, Dwight and Carl Evans; one sister, Velma Powers and a sister-in-law, Sue Evans.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Tuesday, Oct. 2, at the Landess Funeral Home chapel in Campbell with the Rev. Andy Evans officiating.

Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery-Landess Addition at Campbell.
