Richard and Brenda Gilkey of Princeton, Ky., announce the engagement of their daughter, Stefanie Gilkey Gray, to Shawn Hicks of Paducah, Ky., son of Fred Hicks of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Debbie Irvine of Mississauga, Canada.

The bride to be is a graduate & honor student of Caldwell High School and is a secretary/office manager at Wells and Wetzel Law Office in Princeton.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Jackson High School and attended SEMO in Cape Girardeau. He is employed by Quality Carriers of Kentucky.

The ceremony will take place at 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, at Patti's 1880's Settlement at Grand Rivers with Four Rivers Church officiating the ceremony.

A reception and dance will follow at Grand Rivers Community Center.
