That is the case for the Kennett Lady Indians girls' tennis team, which took a 9-0 shutout victory over Caruthersville Tuesday, its second shutout in as many days.
In other area sports, Kennett was shut out 9-0 by Anna-Jonesboro in boys soccer, while Gideon took a 25-14, 25-13 win over Cooter in volleyball and Senath-Hornersville rallied past Twin Rivers 10-9 in baseball.

That might be an understatement. Kennett has recorded 11 shutouts the last two days and outscored the opposition 144-11 during that same stretch.
"They were good wins because we've played hard teams and every win is an earned win," said Hilburn. "So we've been real pleased to get every win we get."
Hanna Lack, Christy Doughten, Susan Shetley and Megan Walker pitched shutouts in singles' competition, while the doubles' pairings of Shetley and Brook Burcham, plus Lack and Doughten also shut out their opponents.
The Lady Indians (5-3) have also gotten strong singles play of late from junior Anna Grantham, who has excelled at the No. 6 spot.
"Anna has come up through the jayvee and gotten the No. 6 spot and played a solid No. 6," Hilburn said.
Kennett heads to Sikeston Thursday before starting a three-game homestand next week to close the regular season. The Lady Tribe hosts Dexter Monday before facing Caruthersville again next Wednesday and Sikeston again next Thursday.
Sikeston features Jenny Dewitt, who took fourth in the state in singles' play last fall, while Kennett rallied to edge Dexter 5-4 earlier this season.
Boys' Soccer
Anna-Jonesboro 9, Kennett 0
At Indian Park, the Tribe was shut out for the second straight day as Anna-Jonesboro scored three early goals and never looked back.
Kennett will be seeking its first win of the season Thursday when it hosts Fredericktown.
