Bessie Lee Allgier, 90, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Risco, Mo., died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007, at Memphis.
Born Feb. 26, 1917, in Greenway, Ark., daughter of the late Granville Ura and Ura Lee Bomar Watson, she was a realtor and a member of the Ridgeway Baptist Church in Piggott, Ark.
On May 10, 1937, in Piggott, Ark., she married Antony Edwin Allgier, who preceded her in death on July 25, 1978.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Deanna A. Shaver and husband, Charles, of Lake Jackson, Tenn., and Toni A. Shrader and husband, Danny, of Bartlett, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Charlie Shaver III, Gary Shaver, Denice Shaver Foose, Russell Shaver, Alexia Cantrell and Noah Shrader and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Wednesday, Sept. 19, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden, Mo., with the Rev. Aulden LeBlanc officiating.
Burial was in the Park Cemetery at Malden.
