Jewell Nadine Batchelor, 80, of Malden, Mo., died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007, at the Golden Living Center in Dexter, Mo.
Born Aug. 10, 1927, in Boyton, Ark., daughter of the late John Harvey and Flossie Drucilla Evans Thomason, she was of the Baptist faith.
On April 5, 1947, in Piggott, Ark., she married Archie Batchelor, Jr., who preceded her in death on March 31, 2004. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Gene and Jerry Thomason and one grandson, Christopher Batchelor.
Survivors include three daughters, Judy Garner and husband, David, Bonnie Batchelor and Susan Fanney and husband, Chris, all of Malden; two sisters, Faye Peacock and Pat Thomason, both of Dexter; two brothers, Dewayne Thomason, of Middleton, Wis., and Bobby Thomason, of Highland, Md.; one grandson, Matthew Garner, of Sedalia, Mo., and three great-grandchildren, Kelby Roberson, Skyler Lott and Carlee Garner, all of Dexter.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., today, Friday, Sept. 14, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with the Rev. Gene Lancaster officiating.
Burial was in the Rosewood Cemetery at Malden.
