Euthel I. Walter, 98, of Kennett, formerly of Marmaduke, Ark., died Friday, Sept. 7, 2007.
She married Coy Walter, who preceded her in death on Sept. 6, 1994. She was also preceded by her parents, Wesley and Effie Vaught Houston; one son, Cleatis Walter; four brothers, Wilbur, Eulas, Latrell and Bernell Houston and two sisters, Dee Houston and Ruby Clayton.
Survivors include one son, Coy "Jerry" Walter and wife, Anita, of Middleburg, Fla.; one daughter, Mavis Kildow and husband, Bill, of Kennett; one brother, Elton Houston, of Waterford, Mich.; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., today, Tuesday, Sept. 11, at the Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Marmaduke.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 12, at the First Methodist Church in Marmaduke with Lynn McClure and Willyne Jordan officiating.
Burial will follow in the Cudd Cemetery.
