Norma Sue Borders, 70, of Campbell, Mo., died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007, at Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Born June 3, 1937, in Malden, Mo., daughter of the late Tom Rice and Nola Pippins, she was a homemaker and a member of the General Baptist Church in Campbell.

On Dec. 14, 1964, in Malden, she married Hillis C. Borders, who survives.

Survivors also include two sons, Shane Borders and wife, Michelle, of Smyrna, Tenn., and Shannon Borders and wife, Merranda, of Campbell; two sisters, Thelma Sayre, of St. Louis, Mo., and Lou Dinkins, of Malden, Mo., and five grandchildren, Hillary, Taylor, Logan, Dylan and Ashley Borders.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., today, Thursday, Sept. 6, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with the Rev. Bryan Johnson and Shane Borders officiating.
