Robert Hampton

Robert G. Hampton, 78, of Piggott, Ark., died Monday, Aug. 27, 2007, at Arkansas Methodist Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Hardcastle Hampton; two daughters, Melida Baureis, of Jonesboro, Ark., and Charlotte Wilhite, of Piggott; a son-in-law, Blane Wilhite; one brother, Ralph Hampton, Jr., and three grandsons, Christopher Shane Alan Morris, of Gainesville, Fla., Richard Matthew Baureis, of Jonesboro and John Erik Baureis, of Little Rock, Ark.

He was preceded in death by one son, Robert Alan Hampton.

Visitation will begin at 5:30 p.m., today, Wednesday, Aug. 29, at the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 30, at the First Baptist Church in Piggott.
