Hazel Blanche Maddox, 97, of Dupo, Ill., formerly of Campbell, Mo., died Monday, Aug. 20, 2007, at Oak Hill Nursing Home in Waterloo, Ill.
Born June 13, 1910, in Campbell, daughter of the late Ira and Nora Motsinger Doser, she was employed by Elder Manufacturing Company and she was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Cahokia, Ill.
On Dec. 28, 1929, in Piggott, Ark., she married Everett Maddox, who preceded her in death on Nov. 1, 1959. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, one brother and two sisters.
Survivors include one daughter Jean Johnson and husband, George "Frog", of Dupo; one son, Gale Maddox and wife, Sue, of Cedar Hill, Mo.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 23, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 23, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gavin Fisher officiating.
Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Campbell.
