Fox-Dewrock

On Dec. 23, 2006, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., Anthony "Tony" Lee Dewrock surprised RaDonna King Fox with an engagement ring. On Sunday, Aug. 5, 2007 they married in Hornersville, Mo.

The summer family only wedding took place in the home of her mother and stepfather, Patsy Bishop Vance and Larry Maurice Vance. The 1917 Victorian home was decorated with lavender, gold and beige colors. The outside entrance featured huge lavender bows and flowers trailing up to the North entrance, The bows were handmade by Mrs. Margaret Moore of Hornersville. The identical bows centered over the fireplace in the living room with lavender, beige and greenery throughout the house. Dellena and Brittany Wyrick helped with the arrangements. The three-tiered wedding cake featured an antique bride and groom. The punch was berry with vanilla ice cream. The dining table held sandwiches, fruit and cheese trays along with lavender chocolate mints. Christina Dewrock, Ciera Dewrock and Esther Hunt served these refreshments. Also, a groom's table with a large chocolate racing cake, drinks and food were served in the kitchen.

Brother Danny Liford of the First United Pentecostal Church of Kennett performed the marriage ceremony. The groom was attired in a beige chiffon spaghetti strap long dress with gold flowers accents. She carried a fresh bouquet of lavender roses, huge carnations and baby's breath. RaDonna was given in marriage by her father, Donald Ray King of Harrisburg, Ark.

The wedding march played as the bride entered. The song, "Completely" by Jennifer Day played while the couple stood in front of the fireplace.

The matron of honor was Rachel Rush Nelson of Kennett. She was attired in a lavender/beige dress with long stem lavender color roses with greenery.

The ringbearer was Master Jace Haden King of Hornersville. Jace is the nephew of the bride. Jace wore a lavender shirt with black slacks and tie. He carried a satin pillow sewed by his grandmother Patsy. The top had lavender flowers, ribbons and rings.

The flower girl was Miss Eli Arnn of Cape Girardeau, Mo., niece of the bride. She carried a silk basket of lavender rose petals.

Anthony is the son of Mrs. Barbara Bost Dewrock Oxford and Terry Oxford of Senath, Mo.

He is also the son of the late Carl Eugene Dewrock, Sr. He is the grandson of Mrs. Exie Bost and the late Homer Bost of Senath.

He is also the grandson of the late Clarence and Ethel Winchester of Cape Girardeau.

The groom's mother wore a medium length beige chiffon/satin dress with a lavender corsage.

She was escorted in by Steve Clark of Sikeston, Mo., cousin of the groom.

RaDonna is the daughter of Patsy Bishop King Vance and Larry Maurice Vance of Hornersville. She is also the daughter of Donald Ray King of Harrisburg.

She is the granddaughter of Mabel King of Harrisburg and the late John Howard King. She is the granddaughter of Granville Rufus Bishop and Lillie May Curnutt Bishop of Manila, Ark., who are deceased.

The bride's mother wore a medium length two-piece beige satin suit with a lavender rose wrist corsage. She was escorted in by her grandson, Dillan Keith Fox of Hornersville.

Dillan K. Fox was also in charge of four songs during the wedding. He is the son of the bride.

Brother Danny chose Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:25, 5:31 and 5:33 for the marriage text.

The bride and groom exchanged vows and rings. Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Dewrock kissed and then the departure song was played.

They will live at Cotton Plant, Mo., where they have recently purchased and remodeled the home.

"Tony" is a long haul driver for Bibbs Trucking Company. RaDonna is a teacher at Senath-Hornersville Middle School.

The groom had several family members present; Clete Winchester and Rose Clover of Cape Girardeau, Nick and Amy Raney and children from Paragould, Ark., Rachel's husband, Ed Nelson and son, Drake Anthony Nelson of Kennett and Donna Temple and guest of Kennett.

Out of town guests of the bride were: Jimmy Carl and Rhonda King of Harrisburg, Bob and Jean King Arnold of Harrisburg, Wanda Bishop Culp and Lola Jean Bishop Weir of Memphis, Tenn., Justin and Melissa King and Eli and Ethan Arnn all of Cape Girardeau.

In town guests were: Landon and Drake King of Hornersville.
