Earlene Arnold, 84, of Kennett, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2007, at Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett.
Born July 10, 1923, in Senath, Mo. daughter of the late Hiram James and Icie Lou Kaiser Cook, she was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church.
On March 4, 1942, in Malden, Mo., she married George Arnold, who preceded her in death on Jan. 8, 1993. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and H.J. Cook and three sisters, Beth Shrum, Joyce Cox and Brenda Kinnard.
Survivors include one son, Larry Arnold and wife, Rita, of Kennett; one daughter, Judy Tribble and husband, Eddie, of Kennett; two brothers, Joe Cook, of Kennett and Bill Cook, of Salem, Mo.; one sister, Glenda Cook, of Kennett; two grandchildren, Tami Gramling, of Kennett and Kristi Brown, of Holcomb, Mo., and four great-grandchildren, Brandon and Jessikah Gramling and Dennis Lee and Tyler Brown.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., today, Wednesday, Aug. 15, at the First United Pentecostal Church in Kennett with the Revs. Carroll McGruder and Don Sherrin officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Scott Cook, Randy Kinnard, Mike Haggard, Wayne Odum, Rick Sells and Chuck White.
Honorary pallbearers were Lloyd Moody, H.E. George, Gene Holligan, Charles McMillin, Tony Bruton, Jim Moody and Steve Cook.
McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett was in charge of arrangements.
