John Wesley Riddle, 80, of Puxico, Mo., died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007, at his residence.
Born June 19, 1927, in Holcomb, Mo., son of the late Andy and Ruth May Hill Riddle, he was a farmer and a member of the Corinth General Baptist Church.
On June 4, 1949, in Piggott, he married Mina Lou Wasson, who preceded him in death on July 31, 2003.
He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Jeanne VanderBol; two sisters and five brothers.
Survivors include three daughters, Carolun Rushing, of Newport, Ark., Linda Smith and husband, Lee, of Floresville, Texas and Vicky Moody and husband, Rick, of Bernie, Mo.; one sister, Martha Hufford, of Rombauer, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Friday, Aug. 10, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell, Mo.
Funerals services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 11, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dean Medlin officiating.
Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery-Landess Addition at Campbell.
