Born March 18, 1930, in Carryville, Ark., son of the late John Augustus and Lillian Pritchard Robertson, he was a veteran, having served in WWII, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He was awarded the Silver Star, the Distinguished Flying Cross and Bronze Star. He also became an Administrative Law Judge for the State of Louisiana.
Survivors include one son, Laurence Cottingham; one granddaughter, Louise; one grandson, Leroy Street; two great-grandchildren, Geoff Street and Sara Batt; one niece and several nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise; six brothers, Loyd, John A., Hal, J.B. and two others in infancy and one sister, Gussie Cox.
