Marguerite Chandler, 74, of Senath, Mo., died Friday, August 3, 2007, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Born September 27, 1932, in Caruth, she was the daughter of the late W.A. and Nell Thompson Akers.
On January 23, 1955 in Senatobia, Miss. she married Tom Chandler, who survives.
Other survivors are one son, Joe Chandler and wife, Jana, of Caruth; one daughter, Diane Brockmeier and husband, Bob, of Chesterfield, Mo.; two sisters, Lavern Akers of Senath and Betty Miller of Mt. Morris, Mich. and three grandchildren, T.J. and Matthew Chandler and Natalie Brockmeier.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Akers.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. today, Sunday, August 5, at the McDaniel Funeral Chapel in Senath with the Rev. Jim Pemberton officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Steve Odle, Byron Small, Eddie Adams, Greg Holifield, Don Wallace and Tim Deck.
Honorary pallbearers are Tom Chailland, Tom Felker, Rayburn Ross, Glenn Cannon and Joe Pelts.
