Bonnie May Britton, 95, of Wardell, Mo., died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007, at the Gideon Care Center in Gideon, Mo.
Born April 25, 1912, in Caruth, Mo., daughter of the late James and Fannie Curry Presley, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Wardell.
On Oct. 26, 1929, she married Deward Britton, who preceded her in death on Jan. 28, 1972. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin and Maynard Presley and two sisters, Lillian Presley and Vera Bell Fisher.
Survivors include one son, Charles Britton and wife, Vickie, of Chillicothe, Mo.; one brother, J.C. Presley and wife, Flossie, of Malden, Mo.; three grandchildren, Kimberly Webb and Amanda Hoyle, both of Rogersville, Mo., and Joseph Britton, of Chillicothe and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9:30 am. to 11 a.m., today, Friday, Aug. 3, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., today, Friday, Aug. 3, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Hamlett officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
