Hazel Ruth Riddell, 75, of Malden, Mo., died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007, at her residence.
Born Jan. 31, 1932, in Corning, Ark., daughter of the late Guy and Flossie Jones Corbin, she was a member of the Voice Of Zion Church in Malden.
On June 24, 1950, in Piggott, Ark., she married A.J. Riddell, who preceded her in death on May 12, 1999. She was also preceded in death by one son, Clinton Riddell; four brothers, Shirley, Ralph, Earl and Harold Corbin and two sisters, Velma Johnson and Dorothy Jenkins.
Survivors include six sons, Leonard, Wesley, Charles and Steven Riddell, all of Malden, Jimmy Riddell, of Parma, Mo., and Cecil Whitaker, of Dexter, Mo.; two daughters, Diane Metcalf, of Bloomfield, Mo., and Ruthie Hicks, of Rector, Ark.; one sister, Helen Tripplett, of Indianapolis, Ind.; 21 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., today, Thursday, Aug. 2, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Aug. 3, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roger Fowler officiating.
Burial will follow in the Elder Cemetery at Campbell, Mo.
