Lucille Loafman, 79, of Malden, Mo., died today, Friday, July 27, 2007, at Golden Living Center in Malden.
Born July 18, 1928, in Campbell, Mo., daughter of the late Walter and Alaska Stephens King, she was retired manager for the Malden Wal-Mart and was a member of the Bethany General Baptist Church.
On Oct. 22, 1949 in Piggott, Ark., she married Dennis Clayton Loafman, who preceded her in death on March 3, 1995.
Survivors include two sons, Byron Loafman and wife, Delilah, of Malden, Mo.; and Chuck Loafman and wife, Michelle, of Sikeston, Mo.; two brothers, Cloyce King, and wife, Mary, of Bernie, Mo., and James King and wife, Ruby, of Malden; two sisters, Rosemary Sellars and husband, John, of Caruthersville, and Ruth Accord, of San Diego, Calif.; three grandchildren, Byron Loafman II, and fiance Tonya, Holly Wallace and husband, Brian, and Kristan Loafman and fiance Mason; two great-grandchildren, Kadynce Boardman and Bianca Wallace; a sister-in-law, Wanda King, of Campbell, and several neices and nephews.
Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, July 28, 2007, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden.
Funeral services are scheduled to begin at 2 p.m., today, Sunday, July 29, at the Bethany Baptist Church with Rev Bryan Johnson officiating.
Interment will be in the Bethany Cemetery at Campbell.
