Eaves and Workman

Harold and Debe Eaves of Kennett announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Elizabeth Eaves to Michael Scott Workman, son of Michael and Connie Workman of West Plains, Mo.

The bride to be is the granddaughter of Jacqueline Eaves and the late J.C. Eaves of Bernie, Mo., and the late Noah and Juanita Cornman of Malden, Mo.

She is a 1999 graduate of Holcomb High School. She earned her bachelors degree at Southeast Missouri State University and will graduate with her masters from Missouri State University Springfield in August. She is currently employed by the Missouri State Highway Patrol as a DNA Criminalist at the Crime Lab in Jefferson City, Mo.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Roy and Dorothy Burgess and the late Marion (Jelly) and Pearl Workman of West Plains.

He is a 1994 graduate of West Plains High School. He earned his bachelors and mater degrees from Missouri State University. He is currently employed by the Missouri State Highway Patrol as a Trace Criminalist at the Crime Lab in Jefferson City.

The wedding will take place on Sept. 22, 2007, at the Conservatory in St. Charles, Mo. A reception will immediately follow at the Wentzville Christian Church in Wentzville, Mo.
