Delphine Louise Skidmore, 86, of Clarkton, Mo., died Saturday, July 21, 2007, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center at Kennett.
Born July 14, 1921, in Gideon, Mo., daughter of the late Elijah and Anna Belle Teal Kinsey, she was employed at the Gideon Flower Shop and a member of the First Baptist Church in Clarkton.
On Jan. 9, 1937, in Risco, Mo., she married J.L. Skidmore, who preceded her in death on Nov. 13, 1970. She was also preceded in death by one son, Don Skidmore; one sister, Geneva Beck and one brother, Earl Kinsey.
Survivors include two sons, Jery Skidmore and wife, kathie, of Gideon, Mo., and Dennis Skidmore and wife, marilyn, of Oakland City, Ind.; two sisters, Meg Wood, of Sikeston, Mo., and Norma Jean Cox, of Rio Linda, Calif.; one brother, Everett Kinsey, of Arlington, Texas; one daughter-in-law, Janet Skidmore; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 23, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Gideon with the Rev. Jack Allen and Kevin Lawrence officiating.
Burial was in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton.
